ABAO Temporada 69

Objective

For ABAO Bilbao Opera’s Season 69, the main objective was to achieve a cleaner line than in previous years while maintaining the brand’s guidelines.

Process

The idea was to create a new clear line, with white backgrounds. The previous season’s design was with black, so we thought that the contrast between seasons could work.

On the other hand, we realised that in a city like Bilbao, which is quite grey climatologically speaking, light and striking colours work better outdoors than dark colours.

It was defined as a form that the circle with a mass of colour would be maintained and its interior would have to refer the title of each representation.

Representative objects were chosen for each title, adding a treatment with little saturation and ageing so that they would have a relationship between them, more personality, power and coherence between all the posters for this season.
